Our Story

Since 1986 Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church has hosted the Asheville Greek Festival! People from all over have come to watch traditional Greek dancing, enjoy delicious food, listen to Greek music, and learn more about our heritage, culture, and traditions.

In the past, the Greek Fest took place downtown. In 2010 we moved from downtown to our own location on Cumberland Ave in the Historic Montford District.

Moving allowed us to open our home to the larger Asheville area and provide hospitality in our kitchen and event center.

From 2020 to 2022, only a "drive-thru" version was allowable due to pandemic restrictions.

In 2023, the community was again able to gather in person, resulting in a triumphant and celebratory Greek Fest!

During the festival we offer introductory Church Tours for those curious to learn more about the Greek Orthodox history and faith.

To make this cultural community event a success we need you, the greater Asheville community. We need volunteers, sponsors, vendors, and of course … festival goers!

We look forward to seeing you and letting us treat you to a lively, delicious, and relaxing time. You and your friends and family are hereby invited to the 2024 Asheville Greek Fest!
